My life is rooted in Jesus, my husband RJ, our two very spoiled boxers, and the people I love most. I grew up in Louisiana, graduated from Texas A&M, and still carry a whole lot of home with me wherever I go. I love getting dressed up, funky interiors, doing my own nails, really good food, coffee, music, traveling somewhere new, and being just as happy coming home to curl up under a blanket.

I’ve always been such a sentimental & nostagic person: I love family stories, old photographs, things passed down, and anything that can take you right back to another time in your life, or things you may not have gotten to see for yourself.

Looking back, photography was probably always going to find me. My grandfather documented his life on film, my dad was always the one with a camera, and in high school I started borrowing his and taking photos of my own.

It makes a lot of sense now that I get to spend my life doing the same thing for other people. I get to photograph the people you love, the way life looks right now, and all the things that might not feel important until one day, they really are. And getting to make something that could still be sitting in someone’s home generations from now? That part is pretty freaking cool!
